1)  H.B. 444 establishes civil unions for both same-sex and different-sex couples in Hawaii.
Message:  "Please PASS H.B. 444"

2)  H.B. 415 directs the auditor to conduct a financial and management audit of the Department of Public Safety's contract with the Corrections Corporation of America (the private prison company that houses Hawaii's inmates on the mainland) and the federal detention center in Honolulu.
Message:  "Please PASS H.B. 415"

3) S.B. 2533 directs the auditor to conduct a financial and management audit of the Department of Public Safety's contract with the Corrections Corporation of America.
Message:  "Please PASS S.B. 2533"

4) H.B. 2266 requires the Department of Public Safety to address sexual assault in prison by requiring the department to provide annual data regarding acts of sexual assault and sexual misconduct and report to the Legislature on any implementation of the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act.
Message: "Please PASS H.B. 2266"

Oppose
1)  S.B. 950 authorizes law enforcement officers of the Department of Public Safety and conservation and resources enforcement officers of the Department of Land and Natural Resources to use electric guns (Tasers) while performing their duties.
Message:  "Please VETO S.B. 950"
