IMPORTANT: Parade start point has changed! Was at Magic Island, now at the Waikiki Yacht Brokerage,  1651 Ala Moana Blvd. (behind the Hawaii Prince Hotel). NO PARKING at the brokerage, marchers are encouraged to park at Magic Island and walk over to the brokerage.

Something different this year!

A short business meeting will be immediately followed by a call to action to support LGBT equality by volunteering for the ACLU marching delegation in the
Honolulu Pride Parade & Celebration!

AGENDA (subject to change):
7:45 a.m. Registration

8:15 – 8:45 a.m. Business Meeting

  • Ala Moana Hotel – `Ilima Room. 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, HI 96814-4798. Light refreshment provided.
  • Hotel parking $2.00 for up to 8 hours with validation.
  • The Ala Moana Hotel is ADA-accessible.
9:00 a.m. Adjourn
  • Marchers head to Waikiki Yacht Brokerage for parade.
  • Line-Up by 9:30 a.m..
  • Convene at ACLU banner.
10:00 a.m. Parade Starts.
  • Three-mile procession ends with the celebration at Kapi`olani Park.

12 – 6:00 p.m. Honolulu Pride Celebration
  • Festivities, entertainment & food.
  • Visit the ACLU table, meet local leaders and get tips and info on the latest local and national civil liberties developments.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION SPECIAL: First 45 march volunteers will receive a free ACLU t-shirt (while supplies last) day of parade. Must RSVP by 6/1 deadline and be present at the parade to claim t-shirt.

For those who prefer to ride, Pride Parade organizers have limited room aboard an open-air trolley. To arrange to ride a trolley, or for any questions regarding the Pride Parade (with which the ACLU is not affiliated) please contact the organizers:
